FoBHPS
We are Friends of Bush Hill Park School. We are a registered charity acting on behalf, and in the interest, of all children and parents at the school.
FoBHPS has been set up and running successfully for a few years now and was taken over by a new committee in January 2019 and our biggest aim is to raise funds whilst having fun, that is our moto. But our objective is to bring a community spirit to Bush Hill Park where parents and carers and all children feel involved and a voice as to what they would like for their school.
Most of our fundraising is through events organised throughout the year, with the Summer Fair being the highlight every July and Winter Wonderland at the end of year.
Every parent and carer of a child attending the school is automatically a member of the Friends of Bush Hill Park, as are all the teaching and non-teaching staff at the school.
We hold regular coffee mornings last Friday of the month, where everyone is welcome to join us for breakfast refreshments, school catch ups and discussions on any upcoming events. If you would like to get involved, no matter how small you think your contribution would be, we would love to hear from you. We always need new faces and fresh ideas. No one is expected to contribute more time than they are able, to events or activities. It's a great way of getting to know other parents at the school and getting involved in helping your child's school.
You can regularly find us in the school playground, so feel free to come introduce yourselves, join our closely monitored Facebook group ‘Friends of Bush Hill Park Primary School’ and look for our logo. Also keep a look out for event details on our notice board in the playground.
